The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is Samsung’s premium flagship smartphone with a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 200MP camera, and built-in S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Specs

Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy delivers flagship performance for gaming, multitasking, photography, video editing and Galaxy AI.

Samsung says the S25 generation improves CPU, GPU and NPU performance compared with the previous generation while also using a larger vapor chamber for improved cooling.

It easily handles:

• High-end mobile gaming
• Heavy multitasking
• 4K and 8K video
• Photo editing
• Samsung DeX
• Galaxy AI
• Productivity apps

6.9-Inch QHD+ AMOLED Display

The S25 Ultra features a 6.9-inch 3120 × 1440 Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz.

The large QHD+ screen is excellent for:

• Gaming
• Movies
• Photo editing
• Reading
• Multitasking
• S Pen use

Gorilla Armor 2 also provides an anti-reflective surface and additional display protection.

200MP Camera

Photography is one of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s biggest strengths.

The rear camera system includes:

200MP Main Camera
50MP Ultra-Wide Camera
50MP Telephoto with 5x Optical Zoom
10MP Telephoto with 3x Optical Zoom

The phone also supports optical-quality zoom at additional focal ranges and digital zoom up to 100x.

The upgraded 50MP ultra-wide camera is particularly useful for landscapes, group photos and macro photography.

8K & Night Video

The S25 Ultra can record 8K video at up to 30fps.

Samsung also uses its ProVisual Engine and AI processing to improve low-light photography and video.

Features such as Audio Eraser can help reduce unwanted background sounds in supported videos.

Galaxy AI

Galaxy AI is deeply integrated into the S25 Ultra.

Features include:

• Gemini Live
• Now Brief
• Circle to Search
• Audio Eraser
• Photo Assist
• Drawing Assist
• Note Assist
• Transcript Assist
• Cross-app actions

Samsung designed cross-app AI so supported tasks can move between Samsung and Google apps with fewer manual steps.

S Pen

The S Pen is built directly into the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

It is useful for:

• Handwritten notes
• Drawing
• Screen-off memos
• Selecting text and images
• AI Select
• Translation
• Precise photo editing

However, unlike previous Ultra models, the S25 Ultra S Pen does not include Bluetooth, so Air Actions and remote camera controls are unavailable.

Battery Life

The Galaxy S25 Ultra includes a 5,000mAh battery.

Samsung rates it for up to 31 hours of video playback under its testing conditions.

The phone supports 45W wired charging, with Samsung claiming around 65% charge in approximately 30 minutes using a compatible 45W adapter.

Fast wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare are also supported.

256GB Storage

This version includes:

256GB Storage
12GB RAM

Samsung lists approximately 225.8GB of available storage before additional user files and apps.

There is no microSD card slot, so storage cannot be expanded later.

Design

The S25 Ultra uses a titanium frame with Gorilla Armor 2 and IP68 water and dust resistance.

It weighs 218g and measures 8.2mm thick.

The Titanium Gray finish gives this version a clean and premium appearance.

Software Support

Samsung promises the Galaxy S25 series seven generations of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from launch.

That gives the S25 Ultra excellent long-term software support.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a premium flagship built for users who want Samsung’s best display, cameras, performance and S Pen experience in one phone.

Its 200MP camera, dual telephoto system, 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and Galaxy AI features make it especially capable for photography, gaming, productivity and content creation.

The biggest drawbacks are its premium price, large size and removal of Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen.
