The Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 16-inch combines the workspace of a large productivity laptop with the flexibility of a touchscreen convertible. Rotate the display 360 degrees and the same computer can work in laptop, stand, tent, or tablet mode.
For this review, we’re focusing on the popular Yoga 7 2-in-1 16AKP10 configuration with AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, 16GB LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB SSD. The Ryzen AI 7 350 provides eight CPU cores, 16 threads, Radeon 860M integrated graphics and a dedicated NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS, qualifying compatible configurations as Copilot+ PCs.
The Yoga 7’s biggest strengths are its premium aluminum construction, large touchscreen, excellent processor performance, comfortable keyboard, useful ports and 70Wh battery. The main drawbacks are soldered memory, a single internal SSD slot and the mediocre colour reproduction of the standard WUXGA IPS display.

Design: Premium Without Going Overboard
The Yoga 7 feels substantially more premium than Lenovo’s entry-level IdeaPad models.
Lenovo uses aluminum for both the top and bottom chassis, finished with anodizing and sandblasting. The laptop measures approximately 14.21 × 10.11 × 0.62 inches.
That 0.62-inch thickness is impressive for a 16-inch convertible.
The design remains relatively understated, with Lenovo’s Seashell finish providing a clean appearance suitable for:

That makes the 16-inch Yoga much heavier than an iPad or dedicated tablet.
Tablet mode is therefore best for:

The standard IPS touchscreen covers only 45% NTSC, according to Lenovo’s specification. Both the 300- and 400-nit IPS versions carry the same colour-gamut rating.
For ordinary productivity, that isn’t a major problem.
Word documents do not require perfect colour.

The Ryzen AI 7 350 is an eight-core, 16-thread processor with a 2.0GHz base frequency and maximum boost speed of 5.0GHz. It includes 8MB of L2 cache, 16MB of L3 cache and Radeon 860M integrated graphics.
This is a strong processor for a thin convertible.

Ryzen AI 7 350 Still Looks Strong in 2026
The 16AKP10 is no longer Lenovo’s newest 16-inch Yoga generation. Lenovo now offers a Gen 11 AMD model using Ryzen AI 400-series processors.
Interestingly, newer does not necessarily mean faster in every configuration. Notebookcheck found the six-core Ryzen AI 7 445 in the newer 16AGP11 to be roughly 20% behind the older eight-core Ryzen AI 7 350 in overall CPU performance in its comparison.
That makes discounted Ryzen AI 7 350 configurations especially interesting in 2026.
The processor remains highly competitive for mainstream use.

The Ryzen AI 7 350 includes an integrated NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS. Lenovo classifies the platform as a Copilot+ PC.

For students and travelers who prioritize endurance, WUXGA IPS makes more sense.
For creators and entertainment-focused users, OLED is worth the compromise.

The Yoga supports a 65W USB-C power adapter with USB Power Delivery 3.0.
USB-C charging is convenient because one compatible charger can potentially handle several devices while traveling.
It also means you are not dependent on a proprietary Lenovo charging connector.

Lenovo has already moved to a newer Gen 11 Yoga 7a 16-inch platform with Ryzen AI 400-series processors.
But the older Ryzen AI 7 350 remains very competitive.

The Ryzen AI 7 350 delivers excellent mainstream performance.

The 70Wh battery provides strong endurance potential.
The keyboard includes a numeric keypad.
The trackpad is large and glass.
