Its biggest highlight is the 14-inch 3K OLED 120Hz ROG Nebula HDR display, giving gamers powerful hardware without the size and weight of a traditional gaming laptop.

3K OLED Display
The display is one of the strongest reasons to consider the Zephyrus G14.
You get a 14-inch 2880 × 1800 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, G-SYNC, Pantone validation, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
ASUS also specifies 100% DCI-P3 coverage, 0.2ms response time, and up to 1100-nit panel peak brightness for the 2026 G14 OLED display.
That makes it excellent not only for gaming but also for movies, photo editing and content creation.
Gaming Performance
The GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU uses NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture and includes 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM in this configuration.
It is well suited for demanding modern games, including:
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Call of Duty
- Forza Horizon
- Fortnite
- GTA V
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Black Myth: Wukong
The RTX 5070 also supports NVIDIA’s latest DLSS, ray-tracing and frame-generation technologies, which can significantly improve performance in supported games.
Because the built-in screen has a demanding 3K resolution, some AAA games may benefit from DLSS or reduced graphics settings when targeting very high frame rates.
Intel Core Ultra 9 386H
The Core Ultra 9 386H is a high-performance mobile processor with 16 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.9GHz boost frequency, and an Intel NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS.
That makes the G14 suitable for much more than gaming.
It can comfortably handle:
- Video editing
- Photo editing
- Streaming
- Programming
- Content creation
- Heavy multitasking
- AI-assisted applications
- Productivity workloads
32GB RAM & 1TB SSD
The laptop comes with 32GB LPDDR5X-8533 memory, which is plenty for gaming, content creation and demanding multitasking.
However, the RAM is soldered onboard and cannot be expanded, so 32GB is the maximum capacity for this configuration.
Storage is a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. ASUS lists one M.2 PCIe slot, so storage expansion is less flexible than on larger gaming laptops with multiple SSD slots.
Ports & Connectivity
Despite its compact size, the Zephyrus G14 has an excellent port selection:
- 2× USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1× USB-C with DisplayPort, Power Delivery and G-SYNC
- 1× Thunderbolt 4
- HDMI 2.1
- UHS-II SD card reader
- 3.5mm audio jack
- Wi-Fi 7
The SD card reader is particularly useful for photographers and video creators.
Battery & Portability
The G14 has a 73Wh battery while weighing approximately 1.50 kg / 3.31 lb in the RTX 5070 configuration.
That’s impressively light for a laptop combining a Core Ultra 9 processor and dedicated RTX 5070 graphics.
Its compact design makes the Zephyrus G14 particularly attractive for gamers who frequently travel or carry their laptop between work, school and home.
