Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Specs

Sound Quality

The Liberty 4 NC use 11mm custom-tuned drivers and support LDAC for higher-resolution wireless audio on compatible Android devices.

Their sound has a strong bass emphasis, making them particularly enjoyable for:

• Hip-hop
• Electronic music
• Pop
• Movies
• Everyday listening

The Soundcore app also includes HearID 2.0, a fully adjustable EQ and 22 EQ presets.

Adaptive ANC 2.0

Noise cancellation is one of the Liberty 4 NC’s strongest features.

Soundcore uses Adaptive ANC 2.0 with internal and external microphones to continuously adjust cancellation based on your ears and surroundings.

Soundcore claims up to 98.5% noise reduction under its test conditions. Independent RTINGS testing also found the Liberty 4 NC unusually strong for ANC at their price point.

They work especially well for:

• Commuting
• Offices
• Flights
• Coffee shops
• Studying

Battery Life

Battery life is excellent.

Normal Mode: up to 10 hours / 50 hours with case
ANC: up to 8 hours / 40 hours with case
LDAC + ANC: up to 5 hours / 25 hours with case

A 10-minute charge provides up to 4 hours of playback in normal mode.

LDAC Hi-Res Audio

The Liberty 4 NC support LDAC, allowing higher-bandwidth Bluetooth audio on compatible Android devices.

Soundcore states LDAC can transmit up to three times more data than standard SBC at its maximum supported bitrate.

LDAC is not supported on iPhone.

Bluetooth 5.3 & Multipoint

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connectivity.

That lets you stay connected to two devices, such as:

• Smartphone
• Laptop

and switch between them more easily.

Call Quality

The Liberty 4 NC use six beamforming microphones with AI noise reduction.

Call quality is good for normal everyday use, although independent testing suggests the microphone system is not the strongest part of the package compared with some competitors.

Wireless Charging

The charging case supports wireless charging, in addition to standard wired charging.

That is a useful premium feature at this price level.

IPX4 Protection

The earbuds carry an IPX4 water-resistance rating, providing protection against sweat, splashes and light rain.

They are suitable for gym workouts but are not designed for swimming.
